If your MZFT display shows two white lines and two green lines and does not appear to function normally, it has likely entered Bluetooth mode.
Note: Bluetooth mode is not an active riding feature and does not mean your display is damaged. In most cases, this can be resolved in under a minute with a simple restart.
What the error looks like
When the display enters Bluetooth mode you will see:
- Two horizontal white lines
- Two horizontal green lines
- The display appears frozen or unresponsive
What causes this
Holding the down button while powering on the bike can cause the display to enter Bluetooth mode. This typically happens by accident during startup.
Tip: Avoid pressing or holding the down button while the bike is starting up.
How to fix it
- Power the bike off.
- Wait a few seconds.
- Power the bike back on.
- During startup, do not hold the down button.
After completing these steps your display should return to normal operation.
