The S2 bike comes with an adjustable suspension fork that gives you the ability to add air to the fork stanchions as well as adjust compression and rebound. The seals inside the fork's left stanchion can fail/wear out and as such the fork will not hold air, and as a result it will constantly bottom out. There is a fluid reservoir for the rebound damping inside the right stanchion and the seals in this reservoir can also fail, causing the fork to leak oil.
Possible Symptoms:
- The fork is leaking oil
- The fork will not hold air pressure
- The fork constantly bottoms out
Troubleshooting to confirm the forks won’t hold air pressure or are bottoming out due to air chamber seal failure:
- Use a shock pump to add air to the left fork tube's Schrader valve. A shock pump is recommended due to its ability to seal with the valve stem before opening, preventing air loss. This is crucial for the small air chamber in forks, as a regular tire pump may result in unacceptable air loss and difficulty reaching the required pressures. Refer to the recommended air pressure ratings based on rider weight, available on page 19 of the Owner’s Handbook.
- Attempt to adjust rebound and lockout to fit the weight of the rider
Lockout (the knob on top of the right fork stanchion) controls how quickly the suspension compresses, if at all. The lockout can completely remove the ability for the fork to compress at all, if set high enough.
Rebound (the knob on the bottom of the right fork stanchion) controls how quickly the forks return to their original position.

- If you notice oil leaking from the fork, please take a photo or video of the issue and submit a ticket to customer service for assistance through the"CONTACT US" widget on this page.
Resolution Needed:
- If you have confirmed any of the above failures on your fork, it will require a full suspension fork replacement. Please submit a support ticket through the "CONTACT US" widget with the details of the failure observed, including a photo or video if possible. An agent will assist you with getting a replacement suspension fork on order.
