Charge up today, ride tomorrow! Charging your SUPER73 is quick and simple, and these steps will walk you through it. They apply to SUPER73 New Gen, S1, and Z1 batteries. Steps may vary slightly by model, so use this guide alongside your owner’s materials.

Step-by-step charging instructions
- Plug the charger into a wall outlet. Use a standard 120V outlet (220V in the EU).
- Connect the charger cable to the battery’s charging port. Make sure it’s seated snugly.
- Press the battery’s power button to turn it on. The button will light up. This step matters because the battery will not charge unless it’s switched on.
- Check the charger LED. Red means it’s charging. Green means it’s fully charged.
- Turn the battery off, then remove the charger cable. Switching off first is the safer order.
- Replace the charging port cap. This protects the port from dirt and moisture.
- Unplug the charger from the wall outlet.
Good to know
- Your first charge: We recommend charging for 6-8 hours the first time. This helps condition the lithium-ion cells for optimal performance.
- After that: Partial charges are fine. The battery doesn’t need to be full to work correctly, but we strongly recommend recharging at the end of each ride.
- Keep it under 48 hours: Don’t charge the battery, or leave the charger plugged into the wall, for longer than 48 hours.
- Check your charger: Don’t use the charger if it’s damaged or has been exposed to water or improper storage conditions.
